  1. 1 cup raspberries(you can use fresh or frozen)
  2. 1 large banana
  3. ½ cup Greek yogurt
  4. ice cubes
  5. ⅓ cup milk/water

  1. Add all the ingredients into the blender.
  2. Blend for about 2 minutes.
  3. Pour into a jar and top with raspberries.
  4. Enjoy

Spinach and Feta Quiche

  1. 1½ cup, crushed digestive biscuits
  2. ¼ cup, melted butter
  3. Undercooked spinach, cooled
  4. 3 eggs
  5. 3 tablespoon milk
  6. ⅓ cup feta cheese
  7. 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  8. Salt and pepper to taste

  1. Preheat the oven at 175°C.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add crushed digestive biscuits and butter and combine with your hands.
  3. Add the mixture into a pie dish and press down and on sides firmly and evenly to form a crust.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes and remove from oven.
  5. Whisk the eggs and milk and add salt and pepper.
  6. Add in the spinach, half the mozzarella cheese, feta and mix.
  7. Pour on top of the crust and sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes; remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes.
  9. Enjoy.

Perfect oats: my way, your way

Perfect oats

Its official, I’m obsessed with oats. Not only yummy but it’s nutritious and quick to make as well.  I almost always have oats for breakfast; unfortunately not everyone else around me is thrilled to have it every single day and it can become boring to always eat the same thing. So, I try out different ways to make sure everyone enjoy this healthy breakfast dish as much as I do.



  1. ½ cup, oats
  2. ½ cup, water
  3. ½ cup, milk
  4. 2 tablespoon, sugar
  5. A pinch of salt

  1. On medium heat, pour milk and water into the pot.
  2. Add oats and stir gently, do not over whisk, you want the porridge to be creamy but textured.
  3. Add butter, sugar and salt and bring to a boil.
  4. Lower the heat and cook for 3 minutes and stir once in a while.
  5. Close with the lid and turn off the heat and simmer for two minutes.
  6. Serve with your favourite fruit, nuts or seeds.
  7. Enjoy.

  1. Ready-made cookie dough
  2. Cookie cutters
  3. Rolling pin
  4. Flour

  1. Icing sugar
  2. Red and green food coloring
  3. 3 teaspoon of milk

  1. Take the dough out of the freezer and let it defrost for between 1-2 hours.
  2. Slightly spread the dough with your hands on a flat surface dusted with some flour.
  3. Dust the rolling pin with flour and roll the dough out. Do not roll too thinly.
  4. Cut out shapes with cookie cutters, place on a baking tray and bake for about 10 minutes.
  5. Remove for the tray and let cool completely.
  6. Mix the icing sugar with milk and divide into three parts. Leave one part white and add red food coloring to one part and green to the other.
  7. Decorate as you wish.
  8. Enjoy.

Pasta, Quick and Easy Eats

Avocado Pasta

  1. Pasta of your choice
  2. 1 Avocado
  3. ¼ cup cottage or cream cheese
  4. 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  5. 3 tablespoon olive oil
  6. 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
  7. Salt and pepper to taste

  1. Cook the pasta to your liking.
  2. Peel and mash the avocado, it does not have to be finely mashed.
  3. Add the pasta to a mixing bowl and drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Add avocado, cottage/cream cheese, lemon juice, salt and pepper and mix well.
  5. Serves 2.
  6. Enjoy.
