Carrot Apple Loaf





  1. 1 cup, grated carrots
  2. 1 cup, grated apples
  3. ½ cup cooking oil
  4. ¾ cup buttermilk
  5. 1 egg
  6. 1 teaspoon vanilla
  7. 2 cups flour
  8. ½ cup dark brown sugar
  9. ½ cup white sugar
  10. 1 teaspoon baking powder
  11. ½ teaspoon baking soda
  12. ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  13. ¼ teaspoon nutmeg



  1. In a mixing bowl, mix all the dry ingredients.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix all the wet ingredients.
  3. Add the dry ingredients and mix well.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased or lined loaf pan and bake for 45-48 minutes or when a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  5. Remove from the oven and cool for a few minutes before removing from the pan and cool completely on a wire rack.
  6. Enjoy.
